Heat Transfer through Composite Wall

AEC-HTL-001

An apparatus to study and measure heat transfer rates through composite walls of different materials.

#HeatConduction#CompositeWall#ThermalResistance#FouriersLaw
Calibration cert included 48-hr quote

Overview

The Heat Transfer through Composite Wall apparatus enables students to investigate conduction heat transfer across a multi-layer wall assembly. Different materials with varying thermal conductivities are sandwiched together, and temperature gradients are measured at each interface using calibrated thermocouples. The setup allows calculation of overall thermal resistance, individual layer conductivities, and heat flux. It demonstrates the additive nature of thermal resistances in series and validates Fourier's law of heat conduction experimentally.
