Overview

The Demonstrational Section Working Model of the 2 Stroke Diesel Engine is an educational cut-section display unit that exposes all major internal components of a 2-stroke compression ignition engine. Students can observe the transfer port, exhaust port, piston crown geometry, fuel injector location, and piston movement in a single rotational cycle driven by an electric motor. The model demonstrates the unique operating characteristics of 2-stroke diesel engines including loop scavenging, direct injection, and the absence of conventional valves. It is widely used for introductory lectures on engine classification and working principles before practical testing.
