Overview
The Roller Bearing Kit is a comprehensive educational display set consisting of sectioned or fully exposed specimens of all major rolling element bearing types including deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, tapered roller bearings, spherical roller bearings, and thrust bearings. Each specimen is clearly labelled and mounted on an identification board. Students study the geometry, contact angle, load capacity, speed rating, and application suitability of each bearing type. The kit is used in conjunction with bearing selection theory (using bearing catalogues and life calculations) to develop practical skills in selecting the correct bearing for rotating machinery applications.
